Encouragement 401

January 31, 2012 By dschenk Leave a Comment

looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2  ESV

This is the final encouragement.  Jesus went ahead of you, he dealt with everything that had to deal with, and oh yeah took on the sins you and I have committed.   He did it.  He won.  He is available to help us.

Sometimes this is referred to as the audience of one.  It doesn’t matter how many fans there are in the stands.  You give everything that you have because Jesus is your audience.

Song of Solomon Study

This is the story of a young girl as she encounters sex, love, romance, marriage and relationship with a guy. She starts out thinking that maybe she is good looking and might be acceptable to a guy. She becomes strong and confident in who she is and in her ability to bring contentment to her husband. A major part of the book is written in her voice: What she says, what she thinks, what she hears him saying. This little book in the Bible can provide some powerful insights. Are you ready to give it a try? Study Song of Solomon
