When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
I Corinthians 13:11 NIV
Boys want Do Overs
cry when they don’t get their way
think the loudest wins
threaten to take their ball and go home
Boys take all the sex that any girl will give them. That is passive.
Men learn how to say NO how to tell themselves and the girl WAIT.
BOYS TAKE, MEN GIVE
Boys practice hard when they feel good, or when they think that coach is watching them.
Men practice hard all the time to gain an edge in the game
Boys put themselves first
Men put the team first
Boys let a bigger guy rebound over them
Men learn how to position their body and hold their ground and draw the foul
Boys say why did he throw that bad pass
Men hustle down the court and make a big block
Boys whine about bad shots that their team mates take.
Men say, works for me and grab the offensive rebound and score.
Boys question coach and say that their offensive will suffer if they have to deny the ball to the scorer on the other team.
Men get in, give the extra work on defense and shut down the guy scoring all the points for the other team.
Boys only know how to take
Men have learned how to give.
There are plenty of overgrown boys, and not that many men.
