The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”
I Corinthians 12:21
Imagine a head with eyes and trying to play basketball. It would roll around once in a while when someone kicked it or the ball hit is. But it would be totally useless. That is what you are likeif you decide you don’t need your teammates and you are going to do it all. You might be able to score some points at first, but the other team will adjust and you will score fewer and fewer points.
The players that learn that they need each other are the ones that develop into a team that can defeat a team where the players individually are bigger, stronger and faster, but don’t work together.
