1 Corinthians 15:58
“Forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord”
If you’ve ever had a bad day, this verse is for you. To me, hidden inside this verse is a promise, that even your worst day has it’s rewards if it’s unto the Lord. Our labor whatever it is, ministry, our jobs, parenting, relationships or I think of Patti being a vent box for someone she cares about greatly. It’s all a mindset we must have to cash in on this verse knowing that when we are right with the Lord it pleases God in everything we do.
My tip for being right with God. I find surrendering to him on my morning drive equips me for the day. Saying those daring words pastor Rick spoke of “use me Lord” infact just yesterday I spoke those words on the way in and sure enough, My boss offered my services to walk a co-worker to her car who is struggling with cancer and wasn’t feeling well. When we got to her car I asked if I can pray for her. I put my hand on her shoulder and took it up with the Lord in prayer. I’m not boasting but testifying that not only will your labors not be in vain but as you continue to labor unto the Lord your assignments will grow and oh what a blessing it is.
Alright y’all have a blessed one.
